Heisenberg Activated Carbon Filter Adapter 18.8mm to 18.8mm

The Heisenberg activated carbon filter adapter with an 18.8mm joint (cone to socket) is the perfect addition for clean and mild smoke enjoyment. It is filled with approx. 5–7g of activated carbon and reliably filters tar, ash, and pollutants. The blue roll stopper prevents it from rolling away on smooth surfaces.

The adapter is compatible with Seamine glass screens (12mm) and stainless steel insert screens in the diameter range of 15–20mm. Here are some tips for use with different screens:

12mm Seamine glass screen:

It sits loosely enough to be easily inserted and removed. Should the glass screen get stuck, it can be carefully pushed out with a pen. It is important not to hold the adapter at an angle when filling the activated carbon – otherwise the screen can slip and the granules can fall through.

15mm insert screens:

Also fit well into the adapter and can be easily inserted and removed. However, when filling the activated carbon, care should be taken to ensure that the smaller screen does not shift – otherwise activated carbon can fall out.

20mm insert screens:

Provide the most stable hold for the granules. They securely fix the activated carbon in the adapter, but are not as easy to remove. To remove them, a tool such as a pen or a thin object that can press against the screen from below is recommended.
